To join BBC Breathing Places for long term
conservation
To undertake practical conservation projects
Meetings:
Our meeting place is the Stourport Boat Club near Stourport Leisure Centre
(turn into the Leisure Centre and follow the road around to the left, park in car park
and go inside at ground level)
We start at 8.00 pm cost three pounds unless otherwise stated
Monday 11th January 2010 Terry Green of the Hedgehog Preservation
Society will speak on “Hedgehogs”
Monday 8th February 2010 Dr Peter Alma, an editor of the
Hartlebury Common book, will speak on “The natural history of
Hartlebury Common”
Monday 8th March 2010 Martin Gavin of Hartlebury Common
Local Group will speak on “Hartlebury Common conservation work
and its volunteers”
Monday 12th April 2010 Richard and Lesley Betts will give
slide and music presentations on “Autumn”, “Portmeirion” and “The
living countryside”
Monday 10th May 2010 Adam Mindykowski will speak on “The
archeology of Hartlebury Common and its place in Worcestershire
archeology”
